You’ll need:

1 cup Epsom salt

2-3 herbal tea bags (chamomile, peppermint, lavender, lemon balm , whatever you love)

1-2 Tablespoon dried flowers, optional

5–10 drops essential oil

1 Tablespoon carrier (see below*)
Carrier options (choose one):

Liquid oil like olive, avocado, sweet almond, coconut, jojoba

Liquid body soap or castile soap
How to Make It
- In a small bowl, mix your essential oil into your carrier. Stir well.
- Open the tea bags or dried flowers and pour into the bowl.
- Add the Epsom salt.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Use right away or store in a jar for later.
How to Use
- Add ½–1 cup of the mixture to warm bath water.

*Tip: For less cleanup, either tie the mixture into a washcloth or place it in a muslin bag before adding to the bath.
This is a beautiful ritual for evenings when the kids are finally in bed, the house is quiet, and you want something that feels restorative without being complicated.
*A Very Important (and Loving) Safety Note
Essential oils should always be diluted before adding them to bath water. Oil and water don’t mix, and undiluted essential oils can float on the surface and come into direct contact with sensitive skin, which is not the kind of surprise anyone wants during a relaxing soak.
Dilution keeps things comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.
